Rooted in cultural storytelling and material exploration, her work transforms gestures, rituals, and fragments of memory into enduring spatial and material experiences.
Drawing on the geo-cultural landscapes of West Africa - from the modernist gestures of the tropical coast, to the Sahel and the Central Sahara - her practice reinterprets oral and visual heritage, craft traditions, and domestic rituals into hybrid forms that sit between fragility and permanence.
Working fluidly across scales - from objects and furniture to interiors and architecture - she explores how materiality and atmosphere shape human experience. Each project is a story, where craft and detail preserve and reimagine cultural identity.
Her work has been shortlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2024, exhibited as part of the London Design Festival 2025 - Brompton Design District, awarded the highly competitive Arts Council England Develop Your Creative Practice grant, and has been invited to participate in international residencies.
